Polina Leiser is the producer and host of The Ancient Church, a weekly interview program exploring the faith, history, and spiritual life of Orthodox Christianity.

Polina has been part of the theDove broadcasting team since 2011. A former co-host of Mornings on theDove, she now produces Focus Today, hosted by Perry Atkinson.

Originally from Yakutsk, Russia, Polina spent her early years in Siberia before coming to the United States as a Rotary Exchange Student. After graduating from Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Augusta State University and a master’s degree in Russian and East European History from the University of Oregon.

An award-winning filmmaker and journalist, Polina has taught at three universities and worked with four television networks. In addition to her media work, she and her husband, Patrick, own and operate a real estate business in Southern Oregon.
