A Media Group located in Southern Oregon has an immediate opening for a morning news-talk Broadcast Technical Director. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of broadcast operations and live television production activities. The Technical Director will work together with the entire News and Production team in planning newscasts and overseeing newscast activities. The focus being crisp and clean execution of all live and live to tape shows.
Job Description, to win this position you’ll need:
- Ability to multi-task and have swift reactions
- Deep knowledge of TV Newscast production
- Creative input on Newscasts, Editing, Graphics and Promotions
- Ability to call and punch/switch camera shots for Newscasts and Live Shows
- Leadership skills, ability to thrive under pressure
Required Experience, what we’re looking for:
- 1+ years of live newscast production of broadcast TV station or cable news operation
- Early riser, need to be in at 5am each day M-F, flexibility to work additional times as well depending upon demand
- TV production experience, camera operation, editing, audio, lighting, graphics will help you
- Ability to work and guide a team during live and live to tape Newscasts and productions
A Media Group located in Southern Oregon is looking for a part-time or full-time Associate TV Producer for our award-winning Show.
The Associate TV Producer will assist the Executive Producer and Hosts in a wide range of editorial, broadcast, and podcast production tasks as well as pre- and post-production of the show content.
Your Role:
- Generate story ideas and identify topics for segments and guests
- Conduct research as assigned
- Pick soundbites
- Edit videos
- Research, contact, book, and pre-interview guests
- Write interview questions, scripts, and other copy
- Perform routine production-related tasks
- Stay current on local, state, and national news
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Solid news judgement and passion for what’s happening in our world and culture
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team – and independently – under deadlines and pressure
- Working knowledge of video editing software
- Solid writing and researching skills
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to details
- Computer literacy and knowledge of PC-based word-processing software
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in broadcast news reporting.
- Able to find and develop story ideas, set-up interviews, gather information and edit stories for newscasts.
- Able to do news updates on radio.
- Able to do TV news reporting and fill-in news anchor.
- Able to use common news editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Edius, etc.
- Full-Time position.
As an Account Executive/Church Liaison, you will play a vital role in driving the mission of theDove by building and maintaining relationships with clients, churches, and non-profit organizations. Your primary focus will be on fostering partnerships, meeting client needs, and expanding our reach through effective communication and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement and Relationship Building
- Arrange and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted partner, helping clients achieve their goals and ensuring satisfaction with theDove’s services.
- Sales and Presentations
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to promote theDove’s Radio, TV, and Digital services.
- Address potential client concerns before finalizing agreements to ensure seamless contract execution.
- Achieve sales goals and maintain an up-to-date pipeline of potential business opportunities.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure all process timelines are met, and records are maintained accurately and promptly.
- Utilize the CRM system provided by LBS to manage client interactions and track activities effectively.
- Prepare regular work plans and activity reports to share progress with leadership.
- Church and Non-Profit Outreach
- Represent theDove in building meaningful relationships with churches and other non-profit organizations.
- Foster positive collaborations that align with theDove’s mission and values.
- Act as the primary liaison between theDove and local church communities to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
