Police have identified the motorcycle rider involved in a fatal crash that occurred Tuesday night on Hanley Road, west of Medford. 54- year old Scott David Nuckles of Central Point died when he collided head on with power pole at 6:39 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nuckles was wearing a helmet. While the accident is under investigation, excessive speed is thought to be a possible cause.
