Tyson Gay is back at full speed and hardly giving his surgically repaired hip a second thought as he heads into the 100-meter race at this week's U.S. championships.
That's quite a contrast from a year ago, when his aching hip was a constant source of concern going into the Olympic trials. He was just hoping that his hip would hold up, which it did and he made the team for London.
