Stormy conditions Thursday morning caused several crashes on Interstate 5 in the central Willamette Valley, including one estimated to have involved as many as 20 vehicles. Lt. Storm Blows Through Northwest Oregon

A November storm struck northwest Oregon on Thursday morning, knocking out power in some parts of Portland and blowing down a barn in Polk County. The National Weather Service said it would send investigators to check out reports of a twister southeast of Dallas, where the barn was destroyed. No one was injured. An estimated 12,000 customers lost power in north Portland.Read More »

Snow Expected Soon

Snow can be expected in the middle of this week for the floor of the Rogue Valley. A cold front expected to move into the area could drop an inch of snow by sometime Wednesday morning. Up to four inches could be seen for elevations above two thousand feet.

Storm Goes Easier Than Expected on Southern Oregon Coast
