WASHINGTON (AP) - Washington takes an eight-game winning streak into the continuation of its home series with Arizona tonight. The Nationals look to 12-game winner Tanner Roark to keep the streak alive. Washington heads into today's play with a six-game lead over Atlanta for the NL East lead. DENVER (AP) - Kansas City has soared to the top of the AL Central on the strength of 22 wins in their last 27 games. The Royals go for a season sweep of the Rockies tonight with left-hander Danny Duffy scheduled to start. He's 8-10 but has a career high three-game winning streak. ST. LOUIS (AP) - The pitching match-up of the day takes place in St. Louis, where the Cardinals are hosting Cincinnati. The Reds go with 15-6 Johnny Cueto, who's trying to become the first 16-game winner in the majors. The Cardinals have 13-8 Lance Lynn scheduled as they go for their seventh win in eight games. ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Detroit's Rick Porcello will be trying to rebound from one of his worst outings of the season when he gets the start for the Tigers against Tampa Bay. Porcello goes after his 14th win of the season after giving up six runs and 10 hits in six innings his last time out. BOSTON (AP) - The Angels head into their game at Boston nursing a half-game lead over Oakland for first in the AL West. Garrett Richards is scheduled for Los Angeles. He's 13-4 with a three-game winning streak that includes a win over the Red Sox.
