No. 10 seed Stanford meets 11th seed Dayton in the opener of the Memphis doubleheader. ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Top seed Arizona takes on San Diego State as part of the West Regional semifinals in NCAA tournament play tonight. The Wildcats won an early season meeting between the two. The opener of the doubleheader in Anaheim pits Wisconsin against Baylor. HOUSTON (AP) - The 76ers will try to avoid tying a NBA record for most consecutive losses when they visit Houston tonight. Philadelphia has lost 25 in a row, one short of the league record set by Cleveland in the 2010-11 season. SAN ANTONIO (AP) - British Open champ Phil Mickelson heads up the field for the Texas Open, making his first appearance in the event since 1992. Mickelson is using the event as a tune-up for the Masters in two weeks. Fog has delayed the start of the opening round in San Antonio. SAITAMA, Japan (AP) - Japan's Mao Asada has set a world record with 78.66 points to finish first in the short program at the World Figure Skating Championships. Gracie Gold of the United States was fifth, followed by compatriot Ashley Wagner.
