INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indiana Pacers have become the NBA's seventh team since 2000 to open the season with eight straight victories. Paul George scored 23 points and Lance Stephenson posted his first career triple-double as the Pacers dumped Memphis 95-79. NEW YORK (AP) - Outfielder Wil Myers is the third Tampa Bay Rays player in six years to be selected AL Rookie of the Year, joining pitcher Jeremy Hellickson and third baseman Evan Longoria. National League Rookie of the year honors went to Miami pitcher Jose Fernandez. CHICAGO (AP) - There are a couple of great early season top-25 college basketball match-ups tonight in Chicago. Number-one Kentucky takes on second-rated Michigan State, then it's fourth-ranked Duke and number-five Kansas.
