Singler's NBA Career Off To Solid Start
South Medford graduate Kyle Singler is off to a promising start in his NBA career, even if his Detroit Pistons are not.
A week into first season, Singler is seeing plenty of playing time off the Pistons bench, and he’s making the most of it. The 6-8 forward who played collegiately at Duke is shooting a blistering 61 percent from the field and he’s averaging nearly 9 points a game.
Last night, Singler-who played professionally in Spain during the NBA lockout last season- was 3 out of 5 shooting from the field, and 3 out of 4 from the free throw line, scoring 9 points as Detroit fell to 0-4 in a 109-97 loss to Denver.
