A shooting this morning involving a Jackson County Sheriff's deputy is under investigation. According to a report at the Medford Mail Tribune website, there was a report of shots fire at round 10 a.m. on Mistletoe Road. Few details are presently available. The deputy was not hurt. The incident occurred near Blackstone Audio. A multi-agency investigation team is looking into the matter.
