Crater High School Re-Opening Delayed

Crater High School in Central Point will remain closed until Tuesday, February 19th. Engineers recommended waiting because they thought they wouldn’t be able to adequately examine affected portions of the school in time to re-open tomorrow. Water Main Break Will Keep Crater High School Closed

Students at Crater High school are getting a couple of extra days . School was closed as a result of a water break sometime over the weekend. Central Point School District Randy Gravon blames the problem on a 59-year old building. Approximately 2-3 inches of water pooled up when maintenance personnel arrived at 5 a.m. Because of the extensive problems, school will remain Tuesday as well.Read More »

A broken water main has caused Crater High School to cancel classes for Monday Feb. 11th. Updates will be provided as the day progresses. UPDATE: According to the Facebook page for Crater High School's Renaissance Academy, classes for Crater High School will canceled for Tuesday Feb. 12th as well. (10:12 a.m.)

BREAKING NEWS (12:59 pm): Rogue River School District Closing For Afternoon

Rogue River School District has closed their schools this afternoon due to the inclement weather conditions. Buses began picking up students at Rogue River Junior/Senior High School at 12:45PM and then continue on to Rogue River Elementary School to pick up those students and then take them home.
