Forgery Suspect Turns Himself In

A man suspected of check forgery is turning himself in to police. 28-year old Zakuri Scott Williams contacted authorities Wednesday from Klamath Falls. Umpqua Bank in Rogue River called police on April 25th when Williams allegedly tried to cash a check on the account of an 85-year old Grants Pass woman. The woman’s great-grand-daughter, 25-year old Heather Jane Welch has been identified as a second suspect.
