Road Work To Slow Night Traffic on Crater Lake Avenue

Motorists planning to use Crater Lake Avenue in Medford Tuesday and Wednesday will want to be aware of road work going on that will slow and detour traffic between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. The work will occur between Delta Waters and Forest Hills Drive. The Medford Water Commission is instructing drivers to expect delays and consider using alternate routes.

This week, weather permitting, top lift paving will begin on U.S. 199.

Watch for lane closures next week as work continues at Willow Lane and Dowell Road intersections. Westbound U.S. 199 at Willow to Demaray traffic should detour to Hubbard as median is being removed. No cross traffic movements allowed at Willow Lane.Read More »

"Rolling Slowdowns" On I-5 in Medford Area Wednesday

According to a press release from the Oregon Department of Transportation, an emergency "rolling slowdown" is occurring today (Wednesday) on Interstate 5 in the Medford area, in the vicinity of Exit 25.
