1,300 Pacific Power customers in east Medford found themselves in the dark this morning. A malfunction at the Roxy Ann substation that occurred at about 6 a.m. was responsible for the power outage. Electricity to all but about 130 customers was restored within about 15 minutes.Read More »

A lightning strike around 10 p.m. Monday night resulted in the loss of power to 2,650 Pacific Power customers in the Shady Cove area and the closure today of Shady Cove School. A downed line at the Stevens Road substation is responsible for the outage that occurred at 8:59 a.m. As a result of the outage, students at Eagle Point High School were sent home.Read More »
