The Oregon State Fish & Wildlife Division is increasing the reward being offered to help catch a poacher. Five thousand dollars is being offered to find the person(s) responsible for killing three deer and leaving them to waste. An Apparent Deer Poaching Is Being Investigated In The Rogue Valley

The finding of a deer head with antlers removed and other body parts has prompted a poaching investigation by the Oregon State Police. It was discovered on Antioch Road last week near milepost 10. Investigators say it appears the animal was killed somewhere else, and the body parts dumped. A reward is being offer by the Oregon Hunter’s Association TIP program. Eagle Point Man Given Stiff Penalties For Poaching

Fish and Wildlife Investigators Seeking Public Help In Poaching Case

Fish and wildlife investigators from the Oregon State Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a poaching case. Over the weekend, an unlawfully killed 4x4 buck deer was found in the Crowfoot Road area, east of Trail. Residents in the area report having heard several gunshots going off at around 3 a.m. Saturday. A wounded 2x2 point buck who had to be put down was also found nearby.Read More »
