Mississippi St. Will Play Oregon St. During Next Two Seasons

Mississippi State coach Rick Ray says the school has signed a contract to play Oregon State during the next two seasons. Ray announced the series on Twitter Tuesday morning. He said the Bulldogs will travel to play Oregon State on Dec. 13 and the Beavers will make the return trip to Mississippi State in 2015. Oregon State fired coach Craig Robinson on Monday.Read More »

Oregon State junior wide receiver Brandin Cooks has declared himself eligible for the NFL draft. The Biletnikoff award winner as the nation's top receiver, Cooks set Pac-12 records with 128 catches for 1,730 yards for the Beavers this season. His receiving yards were tops in the country. Oregon State is much improved on defense. Just ask Stanford. The Beavers had their best defensive performance of the season in Saturday night's 20-12 loss to the Cardinal. Oregon State held Stanford to 273 yards for the Cardinal's lowest total in 14 games. OSU's defense all but eliminated Stanford's passing game, which came into Saturday averaging 207 yards.Read More »

Beavers' Receiver Cooks Gaining Attention Outside of Pac 12

Brandin Cooks is the nation's leading receiver that no one seems to know about outside the Pac-12 - although that's quickly changing. The Oregon State junior ranks ahead of all FBS-level receivers with nearly 11 catches and 168 yards receiving per game.
