NFL Hires Its First Female Official

The NFL has hired Sarah Thomas to be its first female full-time game official.

Thomas, who has worked exhibition games, will be a line judge for the 2015 season.

Replacement Refs To Work Week 1 of NFL Season

The NFL will open the regular season with replacement officials.  League executive Ray Anderson has told the 32 teams that with negotiations remain at a standstill between the NFL and the officials' union.
