Fighting Incidents Down In The NHL

The NHL has seen a dramatic decline in fighting over the past several years. The website Hockeyfights.com says there were 143 fights through the first 408 games of the NHL season, which projects to 431 fights overall. That's a dramatic dip from 734 fights in 2008-09 and 714 fights in 2009-10. But the number of fights fell into the 500s in 2011-12 and the 400s last season.Read More »

Boston Sporting Events Postponed Due To Manhunt For Bombing Fugitive

The Red Sox and Bruins have postponed their games while authorities search for a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings. No makeup date was announced for the opener of the Red Sox three-game series against the Kansas City Royals scheduled for Friday night at Fenway Park.
