Sunday’s weather enabled firefighters at the Oregon Gulch Fire to make continued progress on mop-up efforts. The 35 thousand acre fire is now 74 percent contained. Crews are working today on putting out any hot spots found within the 500 foot boundary on the interior of the fire. Residents in the 6-thousand block of Copco Road are instructed to remain ready to evacuate. The same is true for residents living along Highway 66 between the 11 thousand and 22 thousand block.
