Real Estate Prices Continue Their Climb In Jackson County

The Rogue Valley Association of Realtors and Southern Oregon Multiple Listing Service reports a continued rise in real estate prices in Jackson County. The median for the first six months of 2014 is $200-thousand, an 8.1 percent increase over the same time last year. While the median price of so-called normal transactions fell slightly from 215 to 210- thousand, the price of foreclosed homes and short sales has increased. Sales are down slightly- 3 percent thus far in 2014.
