Reward Offered For Help With Solving Burglary That Partially Gutted Home

By Jim McCoy Tue 4th February NewsBurglary
Authorities are hopeful that a $1,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers will help solve a burglary in Rogue River in mid-January. $20,000 worth of cabinets, appliances, carpeting and a hot water heater had been stolen from a home for sale in the 2100 block of West Evans Creek Road. The home had last been shown by realtors January 16th; at that time the home was in good condition. The burglary was reported January 18th. The homeowners will kick in 2-thousand dollars for information that leads to an arrest. If the stolen items are recovered, they’ll pay a 3-thousand dollar reward. Police have noted that the cabinets and appliances had been carefully removed, like it was someone who knew what they were doing.
