Reward Offered To Solve Stolen Equipment Case

On Wednesday, November 13, 2013 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a theft of a dump trailer, occurring at 1388 Antelope Road in White City. Corey Vitus Construction Inc. reported someone came onto the property sometime during the night of November 11 or 12, and took a Bravo dump trailer. The trailer is described as having dually wheels, is approximately ten feet by six feet, and has black, metal sides that are four feet high. Total value of the trailer is $5,500. The property in White City is not where the business is located, but is where the company has some of its equipment stored. On scene investigation determined the suspect or suspects came onto the property and cut a section of fence and rolled it back, then pulled the trailer off the property and on to the First Student bus lot. On this same night, it was determined diesel fuel from the First Student bus lot was also taken. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information to please call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 541-774-8333 or Crime Stoppers of Southern Oregon at 1-800-850-0580. Crime Stoppers will pay a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case or any unsolved criminal activity. Callers can remain anonymous.
