A documentary film highlighting justice for adults who have survived childhood sexual abuse is being shown this week in Ashland. It's called 'Pursuit of Truth' and follows the challenges of those seeking legal reparation against perpetrators of sexual crimes. One of those highlighted in the film is Ashland Police Chief Terry Holderness who says it's hard to tell the magnitude of the problem because no more than 25-percent of adult victims come forward to tell their story. He says it's probably much less for children.
A free showing of 'Pursuit of 'Truth' will take place tomorrow night, the 20th of August, at the Ashland Varsity Theatre.
