The latest report indicates that helicopters were able to take advantage of better visibility to bring in helicopters to drop water on the wildfires burning in southern Oregon. A red flag has firefighters watching cautiously for more lightning-caused fires. The Whiskey Complex Fire is at 35 percent containment. The Douglas Complex- the largest of southern Oregon’s fires is at 28 percent containment. The Big Windy Fire is at five percent. The Labrador Fire southwest of Grants Pass is zero percent contained, but did not grow Wednesday.
