Forest Fire Suppression

By admin Fri 19th July News
The effort to reduce wildfires this season continues as fire reduction crews work to remove underbrush on forest land. The Ashland Fire Department has been targeting forest areas where under growth could be a problem. Ashland Fire's Chris Chambers say they're Encouraging Volunteers to join them in helping to save some of the oldest trees in the area. Chambers expects the fire season to become more dangerous through September with several fires already having been seen in the valley each burning over 100-acres.
