Medford police are seeking help in finding the thieves who stole a flatbed trailer from Crater Meat Packing Monday at around 11 a.m. Surveillance cameras have captured a man wearing a tee shirt and a cowboy hat to be involved, as well as a second man wearing shorts and a baseball cap backwards.
They used a blue 1993 to 1997 model Ford F-250 pick-up with white stripes down the sides. The truck’s bed contained scrap metal and plywood on each side of the bed. The trailer was 10 feet by 6 feet with a single axle and a diamond plated triangular shaped box on the front. It had no license plate.
It’s the 6th reported southern Oregon theft of a flatbed trailer this year. Most have occurred in the northeast Medford area, according to Lt. Mike Budreau. Each have a value of two to three thousand dollars.
