A man accused of calling in a bomb threat to the Medford Wal-Mart Super Center is facing new charges. 43-year old Donnie Lee Anderson was arrested Tuesday an hour following the bomb threat. He was found sitting in a parked car at Fred Meyer. Police have determined a motive for the threat. Surveillance cameras captured Anderson stealing two laptop computers, a DVD player and a phone card valued at $1,265. The stolen property was recovered Wednesday. Lt. Mike Budreau adds that Anderson is also responsible for earlier bomb threats made against Wal-Mart in May and June. At this point, police think theft may have been a motive in those calls, but cannot prove it.
