A Southern Oregon child molester arrested after friends of the victims' family beat him has been sentenced to six years in prison.
The Medford Mail Tribune reports that 24-Mark Alexander Tabor made a plea bargain and appeared in court Tuesday to plead guilty.
He was accused of abusing two sisters when he was a guest in their home in 2011.
Police say two friends of the family found out about the abuse and, armed with a baton and wrench, took Tabor to a campground to beat him.
Tabor escaped, got a ride and was taken to a hospital, where authorities began an investigation that led to the abuse charges.
The two men were put on probation for their actions.
