Another Suspicious Fire Burns A Vacant Home

By Jim McCoy Thu 2nd May Newsarsonfire
Just days after Medford Police announced that there were a number of suspicious fires occurring in vacant homes, another empty home burned last night. At 5:45 p.m., firefighters were called out to an empty home at 1914 Prune Street that had been set on fire. The bank-owned home was heavily damaged in the garage, and there was smoke damage throughout the residence. Investigators are collecting evidence. Residents are being asked to look out for suspicious activity surrounding unoccupied homes and report them to police.
