Two Langlois Market Burglary Suspects Caught, One Remains At Large

Three men suspected of burglarizing the Langlois Market are also thought to be responsible for burglarizing a Shell station in Smith River and a 76 station in Gold Beach. Witnesses called the Curry County Sheriff’s Department at 4:30 a.m. 45 minutes later, one of the witnesses reported seeing the getaway car parked along the road south of Bandon. When police arrived, the car was gone, but a Langlois Market cash register was found. Eventually, the car was seen again in Coos Bay. The car crashed near Southwest Oregon Community College. The three suspects fled; however, 20-year Richard Schiltz were arrested, and so was 32-year old Michael Reid. A third suspect is still at large. Police were also able to obtain evidence from the car.
