Medford police have identified the suspect arrested this morning in a home invasion robbery on Foothill Road. 25-year old Brenton Allen Morrow is also charged with assaulting the victims- a couple in their 70s. He was apparently acquainted with the homeowners and believed they had money. Morrow reportedly used a stun gun to overpower the woman and punched and elbowed the man in the head. Morrow knocked the phone away when the woman called police, enabling dispatchers to hear what was happening. As police were arriving, Morrow fled, but while trying to elude police, he wrecked his vehicle and officers caught him on foot. The victims were treated at Rogue Regional Medical Center for their injuries. The woman suffered several contusions. The man sustained a severely damaged right ear that needed surgical repair, and suffered a brain bleed.
