A man suspected of stealing a lap top computer from someone who had a restraining order against him is in Jackson County Jail. Police say 20-year Abdul Blair of Medford was not armed when they arrested him near the corner of Barnett Road and Riverside Avenue.
Blair accused of taking the computer from a residence on Table Rock Road. To catch him, police established a perimeter along Columbus Avenue. It is not known at this time if the lap top was recovered.
Blair is jailed on $58,000 bail, and is charged with 1st degree burglary and contempt of court.
