Suspected Thief Caught in Grants Pass

A report of a man in Grants Pass tampering with locks on dryers in a laundromat led to his arrest on a variety of theft charges. Police say 32-year old Brian Patrick Shipman had an outstanding warrant related to prior thefts of ATM machines at local mini-markets and coins from a ca wash. In addition to theft, Shipman faces charges of criminal mischief, possession of meth, and failure to appear.
