Lauryn Squyres, a 6th grade student at Grace Christian School is the winner of this year’s Pear Blossom Festival Mayor’s Cup Fun Run T-shirt design contest. Hers was selected from over a thousand designs submitted. Lauryn wins a pair of custom running shoes and a party at the YMCA.
Lauryn’s framed artwork will be presented at an awards ceremony the morning of the Pear Blossom Festival by Medford Mayor Gary Wheeler. Corinda Westover, a 6th grader from Abe Lincoln Elementary was awarded 2nd place. All entries will be displayed at the Medford YMCA on the day of the festival.
