Medford Home Fire Self-Extinguished

A fire that occurred in a Medford home at 1150 East Main over the weekend appears to have put itself out. The homeowners were out of town when the fire occurred. They returned home Monday night to find their basement flooded, and their house full of soot and smoke. Damage was confined to the basement. It’s speculated the fire was doused from a spray of water released from a severed line. The cause remains undetermined, but the fire is not considered suspicious.
