Rep. Walden Responds to State of the Union

Oregon Second District Representative Greg Walden expressed disappointment in President Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. Walden said he was “disappointed that the president didn’t do more tonight to extend an olive branch to work with congress to solve the country’s problems.” Walden added that the president “doubled down on his agenda” of what the Hood River Republican described as “more spending, more debt” and “a bigger federal government.”
