Suspect Sought in Grants Pass Robbery

The Grants Pass Police responded to a robbery that occurred at around 9:10 p.m. last night at the River City Grill and Rotisserie. In the commission of the robbery, the suspect pulled a gun and hit an employee in the head with a forearm. Patrons tried to intervene, but the suspect pointed his gun at them. Police arrived within two minutes of the call. Subjects were spotted hiding by police, but were ruled as being connected with the crime. American Medical Reponse attended to the injured employee of the establishment. The 54-year old man suffered swelling and bruising to his face and head. He’s described as being white, between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, in his 30s, and was wearing dark clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety.
