Accused Murder Accomplice Admits Her Role In Case
The woman accused of helping Patricia MacCallum kill her husband admits in court she helped cover up the murder. 27-year old Amber Lubbers is cooperating with the prosecution, and is pleading guilty to being an accessory in the slaying of Michael Christopher MacCallum.
Mr. MacCallum was found dead in November near Applegate Creek in California after he had reportedly gone camping to celebrate his birthday. He had been shot in the head. His wife, Patricia MaCallum faces charges of first-degree murder.
Lubbers will be sentenced February 28th. Prosecutors say she has been a valuable source of information.
