The Oregon Land Board has announced the disbursement of 26 million dollars to the Common School Fund. That’s 10 percent more than was given out at this time last year.
The money comes from the management of public lands- including range lands, forest lands, and water ways. The fund was established when Oregon became a state in 1859.

Butte Falls $6,736.51
Pinehurst $1,953.09
The population of children 4-20 determines each county’s share of the earnings.
