Names have been released of the motorists involved in a fatal SUV/motorcycle crash that occurred Wednesday near the corner of Redwood Highway and Dowell Road in Grants Pass. A motorcyle rider heading east on Highway 199 was struck and killed by a woman who was heading west, and attempting to turn onto Dowell Road.
51-year old Jeffrey Blair Cunningham has been identified as the rider who perished in the accident. The driver of the SUV driver has been identified as 70-year old Bonnie Lee Mc Connell.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing. The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety is asking for public assistance. If you were a witness to the accident, please call them at (541) 450-6260.
