Raids on medical marijuana growing operations in Josephine County by RADE have resulted in the seizure of thousands of pounds of pot, 930 pounds of bud, hundreds of mature plants and the arrest of 26 people. The growers were suspected of having more than allowed by the medical marijuana program. In addition, 120 firearms were siezed, along with meth and heroine.
The investigation took authorities to sites all over the county. The largest raid- on Connie Lane in Merlin- yielded 5,000 pounds of growing marijuana, 43 pounds of bud, 53 pounds of drying marijuana, guns and cash.
