Search For Missing Oregon Woman

By Jim McCoy Fri 19th October Newsmanhunt
Fliers have been posted around the Oregon city of Gresham asking people in the Portland suburb to help watch for a woman who disappeared Tuesday under suspicious circumstances. Whitney Heichel left home but failed to arrive at work at a Starbucks less than five minutes away. The 21-year-old's car was found later that morning in a Wood Village parking lot with a window broken out. Police say Heichel's ATM card was used at a Troutdale gas station. Searchers have been looking for clues at Larch Mountain and Dodge Park - remote forested places east of Gresham where they believe her SUV was driven. Police say they've received a number of tips and they continue to investigate it as a missing person case. Associated Press
