Applicants Sought For Opening on CP School Board

Central Point School District 6 is accepting applications for a position on their school board. Position 5, Zone 1, the area of the district south of the Rogue River is opening.

Applicants must be a registered voter and must have lived in the district for a full year immediately preceding the appointment. The anticipated date of appointment is September 25th, with the term ending June 30, 2013. The selected applicant will be encouraged to run for a full 2-year term in the May, 2013 election.

Applications are available at the District 6 website, www.district6.org. or the office at 300 Ash St. Application deadline is September 13th.
