"Rain Man" Reports To Jail

A man charged with collecting rain for three fire ponds in defiance of court orders reported to Jackson County Jail this morning to serve a 30-day sentence. Gary Harrington has been fighting the courts for over a decade for collecting the water without a permit. Harrington vows to fight and take the battle to the supreme court. Of the crowd that showed up in support, Harrington, says he was “overwhelmed, but not surprised.”
