Salvation Army Food Pantry Has Urgent Need

The Medford Salvation is announcing their food pantry has run out for the first time in its history. Food Pantry staff purchased enough food Thursday to last through the end of the day Friday.

The Salvation Army reports they have seen increased requests for help with food in recent years. The organization also feeds 200 or more people each week in Hawthorne Park.

The Salvation Army asking for help from those who can. Those wishing to donate non-perishable food items may drop off donations at The Army’s Food Pantry located at 922 N. Central in Medford. Monetary donations may be mailed to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 757, Medford, OR 97501. For more information, call 541-773-6965.
