BREAKING NEWS: Jackson County Surveyor Dies In Accident

A motor vehicle accident on Wilson Road in Central Point has claimed the life of Kerry Bradshaw, Jackson County Surveyor. The accident occurred Sunday at 5:30 p.m. Jackson County Administrator Danny Jordan says he will remember Bradshaw as a "kind man and worked toward creating and implementing his vision for the Surveyor's office. He was willing to lend a hand when needed, and certainly not shy about offering his opinion on issues." He adds "We are deeply saddened to hear this unfortunate news." Bradshaw was elected to the position in 2008, and recently won his re-election bid in May. He is credited with adding efficiencies and had worked to provide training to the staff on technical practices and software.
