Classes Canceled in Eagle Point, Info Line Established
Eagle Point school employees are on strike. It began at 6 a.m. today. Dave Carrell, President of the Eagle Point Education Association says negotiators worked all night and were still talking as the strike began. Originally, classes were to resume wednesday with substitute teachers. After the strike began, the district announced that classes would resume next week. Only a few activities, including varsity sports, are to continue as scheduled.
