Charges Dropped Against Suspect In Eagle Point Cat Burning

The Jackson County District Attorney's office has dropped the animal abuse charge that was filed against a 17-year-old Shady Cove boy accused of setting a cat on fire. The office says the teen has an alibi for the time the cat was burned in December and investigators could not disprove it. The teen was arrested in February after bragging to an acquaintance about setting a cat on fire.
