Baseball Preview: A Battle of Aces Highlights Tuesday's Schedule

DODGERS VS. METS A top-notch pitching match-up is on tap tonight when the Dodgers try to extend their six-game winning streak. They're at home against the Mets. New York goes with 9-3 Matt Harvey whose 2.09 ERA is second best in the majors. Los Angeles starts Hyun-Jin Ryu who is 11-3 and whose .786 winning percentage is the highest for a rookie in Dodgers history. A'S VS. ASTROS Bartolo Colon is scheduled to start for Oakland against Houston tonight, coming off his shortest outing of the season. The 14-4 Colon allowed five runs in 2 2-3 innings in a loss to Cincinnati. He was 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA in his five previous starts. TIGERS TOP WINNER TAKES HILL Max Scherzer looks to add to his major league leading win total when he gets the start for Detroit tonight against the White Sox. He takes a 17-1 mark and 2.84 ERA into tonight's game. Scherzer is 4-0 and has allowed just four earned runs in 28 1-3 innings since starting for the American League in the All-Star game last month.
