Medford Motorist Faces Drunk Driving, Hit & Run Charges

A woman accused by witnesses of driving in a reckless manner in the vicinity of Poplar and McAndrews Road in Medford yesterday was arrested on DUII and hit and run charges. The Medford police say on their Facebook page that the car driven by 24-year old Kara Zach was later found in a parking lot on Poplar Drive, and she was contacted by police when she returned to the scene.Read More »

A tip from a citizen led to the arrest of a suspect in a hit and run incident that occurred early Saturday morning. 34-year old George Prauss of White City is accused of striking Christopher Thompson with his Dodge Ram pick-up and not stopping to render aid. Medford Motorist Causes Crash While Attempting to Elude

Two people, both wanted on outstanding felony warrants, were arrested following a Sunday afternoon traffic crash as they were in a vehicle attempting to elude Oregon State Police on Interstate 5 near Albany. The suspect vehicle collided with another vehicle occupied by two adults and two juveniles who were treated and released at an area hospital for minor injuries.Read More »

Names Released of Crash Victims

The names of the reforestation crew members involved in a crash early Monday morning have been released. 23-year old Efren Vargas-Urena was killed when a Pacific Coast Contracting company van was struck by a pick-up driven by Leta Schroeder. Injured were 23-year old Arnulfa Anaya, 21-year old Dimas Rodriguez and 37-year old Pedro Santana-Arriaga were hospitalized.Read More »
